Appeals & content removal review
Last updated: May 20, 2026
If you are not satisfied with a decision made by MuseNest Club — whether about a billing dispute,
content removal, or account action — you have the right to appeal. This page explains the appeal
process and our commitment to neutral third-party review.
1.Who can appeal
- Fans / subscribers — appealing a refund denial, account suspension, or billing decision.
- Creators — appealing a content removal, account restriction, or earnings dispute.
- Third parties — appealing a DMCA counter-notice outcome or a content-removal decision where you are the depicted person (not the rights-holder). These are treated separately from standard DMCA appeals — see §5.
2.How to file an appeal
Send your appeal to [email protected]
with the subject line "Appeal — [Reference Number]" (use the reference number from
the original decision letter). Include:
- Your account email address.
- The original decision reference number and date.
- A clear statement of why you believe the decision was incorrect.
- Any additional evidence or context not included in your original complaint.
Appeals must be submitted within 30 days of the original decision date.
3.Appeal review process
- Acknowledgement — we will acknowledge receipt of your appeal within 2 business days.
- Internal review — your appeal is reviewed by a staff member who was not involved in the original decision.
- Decision — we will issue a written appeal decision within 5 business days of acknowledgement.
4.Neutral third-party review
If our internal appeal process does not resolve the dispute to your satisfaction, you may request
referral to a neutral third-party mediator or arbitrator. We are committed to making
this option available and will cover the cost of neutral third-party mediation — at our expense — for disputes that cannot be resolved internally.
To request third-party review, email [email protected]
with the subject line "Third-Party Review Request — [Reference Number]" after
receiving your internal appeal decision. We will provide contact information and next steps within
5 business days.
5.Content removal — depicted person vs rights-holder
MuseNest Club distinguishes between two types of content-removal appeals:
-
DMCA / copyright appeal (rights-holder): If you submitted a DMCA takedown and the
creator filed a counter-notice, or if you are a creator disputing a DMCA removal, see the
DMCA / report content page for the counter-notice procedure. The
statutory 10 business day window applies.
-
Depicted-person appeal: If you are the person depicted in content — not the
copyright holder — and you wish to appeal a removal decision (e.g., a wrongly rejected
non-consensual intimate imagery report), use this appeals process. Depicted-person appeals are
reviewed independently of any DMCA claims and are not subject to the counter-notice framework.
Email [email protected] with the
subject line "Depicted Person Appeal".
6.Limitations
The following decisions are not subject to appeal and are final:
- Account terminations resulting from confirmed CSAM.
- Terminations resulting from human trafficking facilitation.
- Fraud-related terminations where law enforcement has been notified.
